6 Minute challenge- Individual reflection on ideas

6 Minute Challenge- Individual reflection on ideas.

Evaluation of the process
The first thing we had to do was pick randomly a prop and location, our prop was a timetable and our location was a small post office in a tiny village. Then we used Wikipedia and clicked on random article to produce the name of our Title for the film. The first name which appeared was Paper'd Up which linked to our prop and location perfectly. So we decided to choose that one. We then created an overview of what we wanted and combined all our ideas into one. After we created a shot type list and then finally a storyboard of our ideas.
It was quite easy coming up with an idea as the prop, location and title surprisingly let us create individual ideas which would be successful. It was easier coming up with ideas as a group instead of individually as we all had in input into what we wanted the film to be like.
Also it was easy to decide on the film opening as our we used our knowledge on other Crime genres of films that have been created to help us with a good opening idea.
In my personal opinion I think that the idea we created was very successful. The reasons for this are we came up with an idea which was inspired by other Crime films but we made it our own. Also we fully adapted the Timetable and the Post office in our ideas which successfully worked yet we made it urban and modern.
I would use this 6 minute challenge in our coursework film as it would be enjoyable to film and would be successful as we could use the best mise-en-scene and camera shots as we have fully created it as a group.
