Task 3 - Favorite previous student work

 Favorite previous student work

My favorite student blog was Laras from my first impression of the blog I could clearly see their genre. She had 80 blogs which included alot of detail which however varies in some areas. She has used different ICT apps such as prezi, moodboard, mindmister, E-maze, powerpoint and annotated screenshots. Her blog doesn't just provide on type of form-she has used videos, prsentations and even memes to put forward her information I felt that a lot of thought had gone into their blog and also their title sequence.

They have given their title sequence a very mysterious feel which is effective in the narration of the story It has a very professional look to it with showing the production and distribution 'companies' at the beginning. They have then gone onto having non-diegetic sound to begin the sequence with sharp  motions which lead into a news broadcast. News broadcasts are very effective at the starts of films when wanting to elaborate to the audience on the background information on what is going on.
The titles are also over moving images however not at all drawn attention to, they are subtly shown in the corner with effectively showing these titles for short periods on a blank subconsciously drawin the audience into it. I find this an extremely simple but clever way to put forward the titles to the audience.
Non-diegetic sound is being played through out which gives the film a very dark feel. When there is a peak in the action of the sequence the sound level of the music increases making the audience very attentive to what is going on.
